Joe Roberts – Vice President of Sales. Graduating from the University of Missouri in 1978, Joe went to work for Westinghouse in nearby Jefferson City. He transferred to the San Francisco area office then located in Emeryville, just across the Bay from San Francisco. After completing his MBA in Technical Product Marketing from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, he went to work for GE in Emeryville, CA. He and his wife Anne started Access in 1988 in Emeryville to serve commercial/industrial, government and elevator accounts. Since 1993, he has focused most of the company’s resources on serving the elevator industry.
Joe enjoys scuba diving, travel of all kinds, tending to his palm trees and cooking for his family and friends.
Anne Roberts – Marketing. Anne grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Communications. She started her career in advertising before shifting into marketing. After time off to raise the 3 children she and Joe have she shifted her focus to architecture and discovered a new passion. Together she and Joe have designed two homes. In her role at Access she supports all departments and shares Joe’s vision and enthusiasm for this ever-changing vital industry.
Anne enjoys home design, interior design, travel, scuba diving with her family, reading and skiing.
Mike Bohn – Senior Sales Representative. A native Northern Californian, Mike served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 4 years in vessel propulsion & shipboard engineering. Following his discharge in 1987 as Engineer 3rd Class Petty Officer, Mike began a career in sales and distribution of industrial electrical and control products. Mike has worked as an inside sales national accounts manager and project coordinator for contractor accounts. In 2000, Mike joined the Access Team contributing his extensive background and developing our on-site modification shop. He is our “go-to-guy” when we need to combine technical assembly with problem-solving skills.
Mike enjoys all forms of motor sports, particularly top fuel drag racing and Formula One. He also enjoys leisure time with family, jet-skiing and working out.
Jorge Castro – Sales Representative. Raised in California, Jorge spent over 20 years with the U.S. Navy as an aviation storekeeper. Jorge has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and recently joined our Sales Team after learning the products as our Buyer. He is also one of the company’s bilingual employees.
Jorge enjoys family life especially watching his daughter perform in singing recitals. He is also an avid soccer fan and follows his team religiously.
Jose Linares – Buyer. Born in Mexico, Jose has a degree in accounting. Jose joined our Team in 2002 and has proven himself a valuable asset as he takes over the Buyer responsibilities for Access Elevator Supply. With product knowledge gained as our Warehouse Manager he now identifies and purchases the correct inventory for us to stock.
Jose is an avid reader and runner who also takes going Green to heart as he rides his bike to work each day. In the Fall he is certain to be supporting his beloved Raider football team.
Angella Stonehocker – Office Manager. Angella grew up in the San Joaquin Valley of California. Her career began as a transcriptionist in the field of workers’ comp with a law firm. She eventually managed a defense workers’ comp law office. In a bold career move, Angella went to work for an auto repair facility as their office manager. She joined Access Elevator Supply in 2007 and quickly put her skills to use in the area of systems development and integration. Angella has implemented several programs over the years that have increased the efficiency of all departments at Access Elevator Supply. The word “impossible” is not on her radar as she continually proves she is up to the challenge of getting the job done.
Angella enjoys reading, drives along the coast, dinners with friends and being “pit girl” for her boyfriend’s modified dirt race car. Her favorite pastime is playing with her granddaughters.
Luis Prado – Shipping/Receiving. Luis joined Access in 2011 and quickly gained an understanding of the operations of our warehouse. As the last point of contact prior to an order shipping it is his responsibility to ensure the order is prepared accurately. Luis has over 6,000 different parts that he is tracking and learning to better understand and meet the needs of our customers.
Luis enjoys free time with family, traveling and is continuing his education by working towards a Business Administration degree.
